There have been a number of articles discussing faulty wires discovered on Gliders recently. In one incident, a potential accident was diverted at the Bogong cup when a damaged wire was discovered on a Litespeed that was about to launch (http://www.davisstraub.com/OZ/Ozv6n25.htm).

Moyes would like to advise all Litespeed owners to check the front centre section webbing strap that attaches the centre section to the keel. There have been cases reported of wear on the front strap due to an abrasive edge on the centre section.

We recently heard a scary story.... A pilot removed an upright fitting with the stainless steel insert to replace the fitting, he then replaced it with the plastic upright fitting only omitting the stainless steel insert.
